Expert Medical Care for Every Stage of Life

Women’s health needs change across every stage of life — and most women find that traditional care doesn’t quite cover the full picture. At Family Health & Beauty, we offer a focused set of advanced women’s health services that go beyond annual exams. Every service is provided under the oversight of Dr. Alkesh Patel, a board-certified physician — bringing real medical expertise to areas of women’s health that are too often delegated to non-medical providers.

Our Approach

Our Approach

Many of the issues women come to us with — fatigue, weight changes, hair thinning, postpartum recovery, changes in intimacy — sit at the intersection of hormones, aesthetics, and lifestyle. They don’t fit neatly into a single specialty, which is why so many women feel like nobody is really looking at the whole picture.
Our women’s health program is designed to do exactly that. We combine medical evaluation, advanced aesthetic and regenerative treatments, and ongoing physician oversight to address the concerns that matter most to where you are in life right now.
Every patient is evaluated individually. There are no kit-based protocols here — your plan is built around your goals, your history, and what you actually want to feel like.

Services We Offer

Hormone & Peptide Therapy
Hormone and peptide therapy supports the body’s natural systems — energy, mood, metabolism, libido, skin, and recovery. We offer peptide protocols tailored to specific outcomes (energy, skin quality, lean tissue, sleep, sexual wellness) and review hormone levels through lab work to identify imbalances that may be affecting how you feel. Common reasons women come in: persistent fatigue or brain fog, trouble losing weight despite diet and exercise, changes in libido or sexual function, sleep difficulties, and skin changes related to hormonal shifts.
PRP Hair Restoration
Hair loss in women is more common than most realize — and the causes are different from men’s hair loss. Hormones, postpartum changes, stress, genetics, and nutritional factors all play a role. We offer hair restoration treatments designed specifically for women, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections that use your own blood-derived growth factors to support the scalp and hair follicles. A treatment series typically involves multiple PRP sessions spaced several weeks apart, followed by occasional maintenance sessions to sustain results.
Pelvic Floor & Vaginal Rejuvenation (InMode)
After childbirth, with age, or after hormonal changes, many women experience changes in pelvic floor strength, vaginal tone, and overall comfort. These changes are common but rarely discussed — and they’re often treatable. We offer non-surgical, non-invasive pelvic floor and vaginal rejuvenation using InMode radiofrequency technology, designed to support tissue tightening, improve elasticity, and address concerns like mild urinary leakage, vaginal laxity, and discomfort during intimacy. Most patients tolerate treatment well with no significant downtime.
Postnatal Care
The postpartum period is one of the most physically demanding times in a woman’s life — and recovery often gets less attention than it should. Our postnatal care focuses on what’s actually happening in your body after pregnancy: pelvic floor recovery, hormonal rebalancing, energy support, and (when appropriate) aesthetic concerns that often accompany postpartum. Whether you’re three months postpartum or three years postpartum, it’s never too late to address recovery that wasn’t fully supported the first time around.
PRP Sexual Wellness (sometimes called the O-Shot)
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections — sometimes referred to as the O-Shot — use growth factors derived from your own blood to support tissue health and function in the intimate area. The treatment is designed to support natural lubrication, comfort, and sexual response in women experiencing concerns related to hormonal changes, postpartum changes, or aging. PRP for sexual wellness is performed in our office under physician supervision, with topical numbing for patient comfort. Most patients return to normal activities the same day.

What to Expect

Confidential consultation
Your first visit is a private, unhurried conversation about what you’re experiencing, what you’ve already tried, and what you’re hoping to address. We take time — this isn’t a 10-minute appointment.
Evaluation and lab work where appropriate
Depending on the services that fit your goals, we may run hormone panels or other lab work to understand what’s actually happening in your body before designing a treatment plan.
Your personalized plan
Dr. Patel will walk you through the recommended treatments — what to expect, what each does, what the timeline looks like, and what they cost. Nothing happens without your understanding and approval.
Treatment and follow-up
Most treatments are performed in our office under physician supervision. Many require a series; we’ll build the schedule around what works for your life and adjust as we see how you respond.

Why Family Health & Beauty

Physician-led across the board
Every women’s health treatment is provided under the oversight of Dr. Alkesh Patel, a board-certified physician. These are areas of medicine — PRP injections, hormones, peptides — where physician involvement should be the standard, not a bonus.
Comprehensive, not piecemeal
Most women find themselves bouncing between providers for what should be one conversation. We bring hormones, regenerative medicine, pelvic floor treatment, postnatal care, and sexual wellness under one roof, with one physician overseeing the picture.
Confidential and unhurried
Many of these conversations are personal. We make sure they happen in private, with as much time as the conversation needs — not in a rushed 10-minute slot between other appointments.
Honest about what these treatments can and can’t do
We’re upfront with patients about realistic expectations. Some treatments are well-established; others are newer and individual results vary. We’ll always tell you which is which.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these treatments for?

Our women’s health services are designed for women navigating common but underserved concerns — hormonal changes, postpartum recovery, hair thinning, changes in intimacy and pelvic health, persistent fatigue, or simply wanting to feel more like themselves. Patients range across life stages, from younger women dealing with hormonal symptoms to women navigating perimenopause and beyond.

Is PRP painful?

PRP treatments — including scalp injections for hair restoration and intimate-area injections for sexual wellness — are performed with topical numbing for patient comfort. Most patients describe the experience as manageable and tolerate it well. We’ll walk you through every step before treatment so there are no surprises.

How long until I see results from PRP?

PRP works gradually as your body responds to the growth factors over time. Most patients begin noticing changes over weeks, with continued improvement over several months. Hair restoration typically requires a series of sessions to see meaningful results, and individual results vary.

Is pelvic floor treatment uncomfortable? Is there downtime?

The InMode pelvic floor treatment is non-invasive and non-surgical. Most patients tolerate it well, with sensations described as warmth or mild tingling. There is typically no significant downtime, and most patients return to normal activities the same day. Specific treatment details and any preparation needed will be reviewed during your consultation.

What's the difference between this and seeing my OB/GYN?

We don’t replace your OB/GYN — annual exams, pregnancy care, and traditional gynecologic care should still happen with your OB. Our women’s health program focuses on advanced and aesthetic services that most OB practices don’t offer: regenerative medicine, hormone optimization beyond standard care, non-surgical pelvic floor treatment, and PRP-based sexual wellness.

How private are these consultations?

Completely Women’s health consultations happen in a private exam room with the door closed and only the staff you’ve agreed to. Records are protected by the same medical privacy standards as any other care in our practice.
